This is liberating. Rochelle Ritchie has said “No
More!” She did what was asked of
her in order to advance her career (wear weaves) but now she is standing up for herself and
owning her beauty and in turn is giving a voice to women and girls all across
the country.
When I see vulnerability and leadership like this from one
of my sisters it makes me proud to be a black woman.
I have to say, even for me....it was kinda weird seeing her with short hair. I dont know why?? She was absolutely goregeous, but I kept thinking that doesnt look "professional".....hmmm
Wow... I love this story, but like Jam I was a little surprised at how she looked after. I have done the big chop before and have thought about doing it again. But ugh... lol Idk ;o) Oh and the "professional" part... funny.
I loved the final outcome. Rochelle looked really good, as did the other two women featured. The biggest difference seemed to be a surge in confidence, at least on Rochelle's part. She seemed happier, brighter, more ecstatic after her big chop, and I found myself smiling for her. I'm really glad that you shared this video.
